Lai Mohammed on Friday addressed a letter to Jonathan Hawkins, VP Communications at the CNN headquarters in Atlanta, over its report at Lekki toll gate.
The Minister in a conference meeting addressed the issue saying the report release by the foreign television station is unrealistic and contains untrue materials , adding that the report didn’t meet journalist standards.

Lai Mohammed denied the allegation and urged the Television Broadcasting station to conduct enquires first and the information could damage the Nigerian government.
Contrary to the report released by the Foreign Television Broadcasting station (CNN) their reporter DJ Switch has made several allegations which could result or render her report false following her misinformation on the number of protesters shot on Lekki toll gate that faithful day.
