Serena Williams enjoyed some quality mommy-and-me time with her little princess, Alexis Ohanian Jr.
The tennis pro, 38, shared a heartwarming snap of Alexis zipping up her pink gown during a day of dress up on Thursday.
‘She’s got my back already. And I’ll always have hers,’ Serena captioned the snap.
In the sweet photo, Alexis wore a pink princess-like dress, while her mother wore a similar frock.
Serena crouched onto the floor, allowing her daughter to fit her into the dress.
Serena loves sharing precious mother-daughter photos on her Instagram account, including photos of their time playing dress up together.
Last month, Serena took to her Instagram stories to reveal her daughter had part ownership in the women’s soccer franchise, Angel City.
The tennis pro shared with her 12.5 million Instagram followers a frame that read ‘Proud Owner Angel City’ with shots of the toddler and a soccer ball.
Text on the post read: ‘A new era of sports & entertainment in Los Angeles. Building a women’s football club that lives up to its name … Angel City.’
The Los Angeles native also shared the shot on Olympia’s Twitter page accompanied by emojis of angels and a soccer ball.
The tennis great shares the child with her tech mogul spouse, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 37, who worked with actress Natalie Portman and a number of high-profile partners to help fund the sports team.
In a statement, Alexis Ohanian referenced his quality time with his daughter in his efforts to help build the sport.
‘As someone who spends hours kicking around a football with my two-year-old daughter, I want her to have a front row seat to this revolution,’ he said. ‘I’m personally investing on behalf of my family because creating more opportunities in women’s sports is important to my wife and me, and we want to be a part of making a better future for our daughter.’
He added: ‘I am proud to be a part of this wonderful group working to bring a women’s professional football club to Los Angeles. Chiefly, because I’m a fan of the game, but also because I believe there is massive potential for the sport and it’s been undervalued by too many people for far too long.’
Other prominent founders of the team include actresses Uzo Aduba, America Ferrera, Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria, Jessica Chastain and Lilly Singh, venture capitalist Kara Nortman, and OUYA founder Julie Uhrman.
